Track, Driver, and Engine Rules
RULES
All Karts will conform with W.K.A. safety rules.
Briggs classes will conform with W.K.A. Engine rules
Drivers Attire
Snell 2000 full face helmet
Racing Jacket or uniform, no sweatshirts or jackets
Gloves
Neckbrace
Long pants-no shorts or cutoffs allowed
Shoes-no sandals allowed
- All karts must pass safety tech before entering track
- Burris Tires only, any compound, cuts and prepped tires allowed. No grooved tires allowed in any class!
- 3 spin out rule (adult classes only)
- 1 try across scales.
- Maximum Kart weight 200# except Champ Classes
- RWUB Champ no weight rule
- 2 trys at double start then 1 single file (rollback)
- No passing on starts until you have passed Billys cone
- Grid- If you are not at the grid when your class is called up you will be held up there until the field has passed and you will start from the tail of that race(no parade laps) You should enter the track in correct running order
- If you substitute drive for someone in the feature you will start from the tail.
- All Karts will weigh after each race, the top 3 will go to the impound area. If you are running more than one class the scale man will mark your engine.
- At no time will you approach flagstand and challenge the flagman or scorer.
- No drinking Alcohol, doing drugs, or profanity will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave or escorted off the fairgrounds.
- Rough driving will not be permitted, corner flagman will be in radio contact with flagman. (NO BLOCKING) black flag will be awarded.
- Lay over flag will be used so observe the flagman.
- Yellow means slow down and hold your position. (WE DO NOT RACE BACK TO THE YELLOW)
- If you cause a caution or are involved in one you will start from the tail.
- Red flag means slow to STOP, yellow will allow you to continue to make sure you are in the right position.
- We will reallign spots by going back 1 lap as you were scored the previous lap.
- If we are rained out after both heats and all classes are completed you will be scored by your starting postion in the feature.
- If someone scratches from the field, the field line that they are in will move straight forward.
- NO ONE on the track other than the track officials during a race. You will be allowed to enter after the field has been stopped by a track official.
- If you have trouble on the track: engine dies, toss chain, etc; you will be allowed 2 trys to continue. After that push kart into infield or off the track.
- If you refuse tech or protest you will be disqualified and not awarded any points for that race.
- ALL karts will follow WKA guidelines on safety, body works, 4 numbers must be legible FRONT, SIDES, & REAR - Must have them on all 4 sides or will NOT BE SCORED.
- All lead weights must be painted white with kart number stamped or written on it. Minimum 5/16 bolt double nutted. No weights on nerf bars or front or rear bumpers.
- Top 3 held after feature. If running another class engine will be marked by scaleman before you leave impound area.
- If you need to change engine you need to tell pit steward before the fact. Engine you pulled will be kept in impound area.
